As a Partnerships Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of AIA Carnival by managing and nurturing relationships with various partners and sponsors.


Job Overview: AIA Carnival is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnerships Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, delivering, and expanding partnerships and sponsorships to support the Carnival's growth and success. This role requires a proactive, creative, and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, sponsors, and collaborators, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Work closely with the events team to integrate partner activations into the Carnival's activities, ensuring a seamless and mutually beneficial partnership.

Sponsorship Sales:

  • Develop and implement sponsorship sales strategies to attract and secure new sponsors, partners and corporate hospitality clients.

  • Create decks and proposals quickly and efficiently.

  • Create compelling sponsorship packages that meet the needs of potential sponsors and align with the Carnival's objectives.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential sponsors and understand their marketing objectives.

  • Approach, negotiate, and close sponsorship deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Promotions and Marketing:

  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional and marketing campaigns that leverage partner resources and maximize brand exposure.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor partnership budgets, track expenditures, and ensure partners receive the agreed-upon benefits and deliverables.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze data and metrics to measure partnerships' success and identify areas for improvement.

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and partners to share progress, results, and ROI.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, account management, or sponsorship/hospitality sales.

  • Knowledge of the Hong Kong market and culture is vital.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify unique partnership opportunities.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Monday.com a benefit.

  • Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin skills are a benefit
